Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Analytics Manager with expertise in Lifetime Value (LTV) modeling, cross channel measurement across lifecycle of customers and their journeys, and audience measurement. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for driving data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize our marketing strategies and enhance customer acquisition and retention efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of marketing analytics, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

 

The position will collaborate with Leadership to develop strategies, tactics and initiatives to help Gerber Life successfully grow its premium stream in an economically viable manner. While promoting efficient growth, the person will oversee the allocation of the Marketing budget across a variety of products, campaigns and audiences. Key metrics include: top of the funnel marketing metrics such as display impressions, TV eyeballs, Direct Mail volumes; middle of the funnel metrics such as site traffic and calls; bottom of the funnel metrics such as Applications, Issues, Policies, Issue Rates, Conversion Rates, Retention Rates, Premium, Life Time Revenue, and Return on Ad spend.  The person must love numbers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain advanced Lifetime Value (LTV) models to assess customer profitability, customer segmentation, and customer lifetime behavior.
  • Analyze marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, traditional, social media, and offline, to evaluate their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct in-depth audience analysis to understand customer behavior, preferences, and trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance targeting and segmentation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, data science, and business intelligence, to ensure alignment on analytics objectives and strategies.
  • Design and execute experiments and A/B tests to measure the impact of marketing initiatives on customer behavior and business performance.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor marketing effectiveness and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilize statistical analysis techniques to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends in large datasets, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging analytics methodologies, bringing innovative ideas and best practices to the team.

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience (5 years) working in marketing analytics or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Strong expertise in developing and implementing Lifetime Value (LTV) models, customer segmentation, and customer lifetime behavior analysis.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience working with marketing analytics platforms, web analytics tools, and data visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, attribution models, and audience measurement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • A passion for staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging new technologies and methodologies to drive marketing success.

Work Setting:

  • This position works in an office setting and remains in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings. 
  • Position requires substantial movement of wrist, hands and fingers for continuous computer work.

Educational Requirements:

 

  • Advanced degree in Analytics, Finance or MBA preferred.
  • 5 years of experience within Insurance or Financial Services industry or within Marketing analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Computer Skills and Knowledge of Hardware & Software Required:

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Intermediate/advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Strong quantitative and communication skills
  • Must code in SQL and Python
  • Proficient in new technology and/or data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Proficient in accessing data through Salesforce, DataMart, Google Cloud Platform(GCP), database, or Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Familiarity with Cognos is a plus

The salary ranges posted reflect our targeted base pay hiring range for the position. The final determination on base pay for any position will be determined based on multiple factors to ensure pay equity within the organization. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
