Overview

Summary of Responsibilities:

Serves as lead operational resource dedicated to the Private Client Group (PCG) business line. This role has a deep understanding of all operational aspects of PCG and supports the PCG Operations Lead on all operational and project efforts, including the evaluation and implementation of new technology, creating of new reporting and other efforts related to the client experience.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintains firm-wide strategy and effective utilization of all PCG technology, including Orion and the firm’s CRM solution.

  • Supports PCG Operations Lead in owing custodial relationships, understands the work flow within the custodial environment and how that complements Fort Washington’s client experience and reporting.

  • Partners with PCG Operations Lead and PCG team to enhance/build workflows and drive efficiencies, including all Operational Excellence efforts.

  • Plays active role by owning significant portions of system implementations and ongoing evaluation of technology ecosystem.

  • Assists with the ongoing development of PCG statements, including custodial offerings.

  • Possesses understanding of all Fort Washington operational workflows within the PCG business line.

  • Advocates for the client experience within Operations throughout all production processes and projects.

  • Plays lead role in ensuring the daily, monthly and quarterly reconciliation data is accurate and complete.

  • Owns all performance tasks, including the triage of issues caught by Orion and/or the Fort Washington reconciliation processes.

  • Leads all internal and external reporting production, including quarterly statement generation, creation of executive summaries and any ad-hoc needs.

  • Manages quarterly fee billing processes.

  • Compiles monthly and quarterly assets under management (AUM) reporting.

  • Coordinates all PCG audits and plays a lead role in obtaining necessary information. Audits could include the Surprise Audit, Form CRS, SEC examinations and/or others.

Qualifications

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven knowledge of private/wealth management clients and processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to present information to multiple levels within an organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently.

  • Proven excellent analytical ability and numerical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve problems.

  • Proven excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to think both tactically and strategically.

  • Demonstrated experience in Operational Excellence or Process Improvement initiatives.

  • Demonstrated understanding of performance measurement and the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) preferred.

  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail.

  • Proven experience handling confidential information and correspondence.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration.

Computer Skills and Knowledge of Hardware & Software Required:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and understand new technology.

  • Must have experience working with Portfolio Management, CRM and other related systems.

Certifications & Licenses (i.e., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.):

  • N/A.
