Overview

Summary of Responsibilities:

Serves as a member of the Enterprise Engagement Platform (EEP) Salesforce team and partners with Marketing Support & Execution, Information Technology, and Business Units to define, evaluate and deliver Enterprise application solutions that increase productivity, efficiencies and cost-effectiveness. Serves as the primary administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud while supporting other Enterprise applications. Assists with research and resolution of technical issues as they arise. Provides application development, administration and support for Enterprise projects. Maintains daily Salesforce support and analytics for EEP corporate intranet site. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible for making an established range of decisions, escalating to management when appropriate. 

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serves as primary administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and assists with development and support for multiple Enterprise applications within the organization.  Monitors Enterprise application development environments, and provides product recommendations to nurture applications, problem-solving support, training and analysis.
  • Assists with development and maintenance of emails, data, SMS/MMS messages, journeys, distributed marketing campaigns and cloud pages leveraging CSS, SQL HTML, and AMPscript. Responsible for managing multiple assignments, deadlines and priorities.
  • Participates in EEP sprint ceremonies and serves as the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Release Manager.
  • Assists with research, analysis, definition, testing and planning activities for implementation and maintenance of Enterprise application solutions.
  • Utilizes applications effectively to ensure accuracy and enhance productivity.  Recommends course of action on Enterprise application development when system problems arise or when changes need to occur.
  • Prepares and delivers written documentation, verbal updates and demos for Enterprise application/process functionality in an easy-to-understand, non-technical style to support business communities.
  • Assists with EEP intranet website by providing administrative support, including analytics and content authoring while adhering to the predefined company standards.
  • Partners with vendors to address challenges and plan for future releases.
  • Develops and delivers Enterprise metrics and reporting with analysis for assigned applications leveraging out of the box reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Selection Criteria:

  • 2-4 years experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM or other Enterprise applications preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interact and communicate with various levels of staff and management in technical and non-technical terms.
  • Proven excellent experience in customer service or client management including identifying problems/issues, providing and initiating effective resolutions.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously, and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis.  Must demonstrate attention to detail with solid organizational skills. 
  • Proven flexibility to transition between projects quickly, maintain positive, energetic attitude and possess the ability to work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully interpret and communicate business needs to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of  SQL, AmpScript, HTML and/or CSS preferred.
  • Demonstrated examples of motivation and experience working independently.
  • Proven successful examples of completing projects in a demanding, high-volume environment.

Work Setting:

  • Works in an office setting and remains continuously in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings. 

Educational Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, related degree or equivalent business experience.

Computer Skills and Knowledge of Hardware & Software Required:

  • Working knowledge and experience with Enterprise application systems, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM.
  • Working knowledge of Web traffic and monitoring applications (Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise content management tool (Sitecore, OpenText Web Solutions, etc.).

Certifications & Licenses (i.e., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.):

  • Salesforce certifications preferred, but not required.

Position Demands:

  • Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
