Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Advocate, you will:

  • Help customers secure insurance coverage by actively selling additional products to ensure they have the insurance protection their family needs! You will write new policies using our simple sales process- making it easy for you and the customer!
  • Represent Gerber Life by providing an excellent customer experience! You will utilize active listening skills to partner with the customer to understand and process their request. This will include resolving billing concerns, handling policy change requests and guiding families through the process of filing for insurance benefits and more!

Qualifications

  •  1-2 years Customer Service experience
  •  Contact center experience and knowledge considered a plus
  •  Life Insurance industry experience and knowledge considered a strong advantage
  • Customer Service Advocate with the ability to discuss information in a customer friendly manner.
  • Strong and accurate business English, verbal and written communication skills (grammer and spelling)
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Abilit to Multitask
  • Strong bilingual competency considered a plus (English and Spanish)
  • Strong service acumen and sales focus with the ability to offer additional products that will fill the insurance needs of the customer

 

Educational Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Must already have active Life & Health Insurance License in resident state
