Overview

Supports product development, implementation, enhancement, maintenance and ETF capital markets for the Touchstone product roster. Supports development and enhancement of prospectuses, annual reports and other regulatory materials while interacting with various entities and functional areas. In addition, supports the ETF product line and capital markets team, engaging with all firms in the ETF ecosystem including stock exchanges, market makers, and Authorized Participants. Supports business development and sales support activities for all products. Works under supervision of senior team members, escalating when appropriate.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Contributes to all development/enhancement activities for products distributed through Touchstone Investments.
  • Provides analysis and recommendations regarding rationalization, maintenance and expansion of Touchstone product roster
  • Supports the development of prospectuses, annual reports, semi-annual reports and other regulatory filings
  • Contributes to memorandums proposing actions by Touchstone Funds' Board of Trustees
  • Analyzes industry data and trends to appropriately price Touchstone's product offering while balancing sales and profitability goals
  • Supports market research such as identification of consumer and distribution trends and industry statistical analysis. Communicates findings to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Contributes to Touchstone's efforts to regularly engage with sub-advisors to discuss industry trends and strategic planning. Responsible for managing engagement calendar and producing materials to facilitate conversation
  • Attends meetings and communicates regularly with various departments to support product management, enhancement and ongoing maintenance
  • Engages with all firms in the ETF ecosystem including stock exchanges, market makers, and Authorized Participants
  • Develops strong relationships with Touchstone's sales team, assisting clients in achieving best execution.
  • Confirms accuracy of daily PCF files and other relevant data being disseminated to the market to support Touchstone ETFs
  • Assists in rebalancing of ETF portfolios
  • Facilitates communication between the Portfolio Management teams and APs related to the ETF create-redeem process
  • Acts as a liaison with internal and external sales staff relative to product, communicating product information and providing technical sales support and operational support
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Communications Department in the development and review of product specific sales and marketing materials, and jointly coordinates new product launches and product enhancements with the Marketing Communications Department to ensure effective and timely implementation
  • Contributes to competitive analysis research and materials production
  • Stays current on industry trends through industry publications, research and participation in sales activities
  • Fosters a culture within the department that promotes open communication, integrity, professionalism, teamwork and a sense of urgency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Finance-related field - Preferred
  • Financial services experience or Product Management (product design, competitive analysis, strategic planning) - Required
  • ETF experience - Preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and communicate with peers and management -
  • Understanding of mutual fund analysis techniques and ability to competitively contrast investment strategies -
  • Cites examples of organizational skills and methods used to manage and prioritize workload demands -
  • Preference for knowledge of mutual fund regulation and regulatory filings -
  • Strong attention to detail -
  • Demonstrated ability to receive, organize and manage large amounts of diverse information and documentation -
  • Cites examples of independent decision-making and initiative -
  • Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information in a clear, focused and concise manner -
  • FINRA Licenses FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 Licenses within 180 Days - Required

Work Setting/Position Demands:

  • Works in an office setting and remains in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings.
  • Requires the ability to verbally communicate and exchange accurate information to customers and associates on a regular basis.
  • Requires visual acuity to read and interpret a variety of correspondence, procedures, reports and forms via paper and electronic documents, visual inspection involving small defects; small parts, and/or operation of machinery (including inspection); using measurement devices continuously. Visual acuity is required to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
  • Requires the ability to prepare written correspondence, reports and forms using prescribed formats and conforming to rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style on a regular basis.
  • Requires the ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Performs substantial movement of wrists, hands, and fingers for continuous computer work.
  • Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects/events.
