Overview
Provides strategic leadership in the development of the Western & Southern Financial Group (W&SFG) audiovisual function and capabilities.  Identifies and works to integrate functional and/or technical opportunities to improve outcomes and/or lower costs across Business Units and Shared Services Units. Serves as producer-director, editor and set designer for a wide range of AVMM programs, responsible for overall production management, budget execution, and supervision of logistical details. Works directly with the chairman, president and CEO and other senior executives to enable and enhance their communications through audiovisual multimedia. Applies expertise in modern production styles and cutting-edge camera techniques to create compelling, first-rate original productions. Documents best practices and provides ongoing education and coaching to related internal users/customers. Develops and updates a plan for sustainable A/V capability. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible for making a wide range of decisions, escalating to manager when appropriate and updating manager on a regular basis.
 
 
Responsibilities
What you will do:- Coordinates and directs audiovisual and multimedia projects in all facets of development and production:  photography, videography, and distribution and storage of digital files and related materials. Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with internal customers and consistently seeks their input regarding organizational needs and capabilities. Accountable for all A/V production requirements/deliverables.
- Supervises and directs audiovisual and multimedia crews in day-to-day video production and for State of the Business, Leaders Sales Meetings, Agency Leadership Conference, Legion Awards and other related programs.
- Directs and coordinates W&SFG photography. Manages and oversees W&SFG's photo digital filing system, performs and/or outsources complex digital retouching projects.
- Develops and implements audiovisual and multimedia strategies to improve overall impact and control production expenses related to staging major events for W&SFG.  Provides organizational coaching and education for peers and related internal customers.
- Monitors trends, recommends implementation of technology based on industry best practices, and regularly works with other members of PRCCD management team to enhance production quality, improve results and lower costs of audiovisual and multimedia projects.
- Within parameters set by the enterprise, determines which work will require support from outside partners and leads the combined internal-external team. Develops and manages a preferred vendors list.
- Serves as producer and technical support for senior management A/V presentations.
- Administers multiple contracts for external production resources and represents W&SFG in the area of audiovisual and multimedia where senior executive management is involved in video productions handled by outside media groups.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Provides direction to and development of associates through daily coaching, the administration of the Performance Management Model, and the creation and implementation of development plans. Recruits, hires, trains and develops staff.
 
 
 
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree In video production or related field or commensurate selection criteria experience. - Required
- Proven experience in directing groups or managing multiple teams, outside resources and evolving certain time deadlines. - Required
- Demonstrated mastery of the audiovisual and multimedia disciplines, with a proven ability to generate innovative concepts and bring them to life through video production, audio recording, and live/staged experiences. Must show evidence of staying current with emerging AVMM technologies, platforms and techniques, while effectively coordinating cost-efficient external resources. Candidates should provide examples of direct involvement in at least three areas of specialization. - Required
- Proven ability to conceptualize and design productions in which there is no established format or where obstacles exist to traditional approaches. - Required
- Demonstrated ability to convey information and instructions to multiple persons clearly and concisely in real-time production situations.  Provide examples of management of several production projects. - Required
- Demonstrated confident maturity, creativity and proven ability to analyze problems/situations and use good judgment in decision-making to produce superior results without adding time and expense to the overall project. - Required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. - Required
- Proficient knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems. - Required
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint. - Required
- Proficiency in word processing application. - Required
- Working knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Audition. - Required
- Proven professional skills in both digital and conventional photography, with the ability to step in as a backup photographer when required. - Preferred
- Proven ability to prepare and formulate budgets that can be applied to long-range goals and plans.  Provide examples of successful budget plans. - Preferred
Work Setting/Position Demands:- Works in an office setting and remains in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings. 
- Requires the ability to verbally communicate and exchange accurate information to customers and associates on a regular basis. 
- Requires visual acuity to read and interpret a variety of correspondence, procedures, reports and forms via paper and electronic documents, visual inspection involving small defects; small parts, and/or operation of machinery (including inspection); using measurement devices continuously. Visual acuity is required to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned. 
- Requires the ability to prepare written correspondence, reports and forms using prescribed formats and conforming to rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style on a regular basis. 
- Requires the ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions 
- Performs substantial movement of wrists, hands, and fingers for continuous computer work. 
- Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects/events. 
- Associate must be able to operate a motor vehicle for short and/or long distances

- Routine and/or extended after hours work needed 
Travel Requirements:- 10% travel Planned travel required three to five times each year to support offsite conferences and meetings, typically lasting a week at a time.
