The system engineer is responsible for participating in the planning, design, installation, monitoring and support of Microsoft Windows 2025 & 2022 servers, Linux/Unix Servers, storage systems and virtualization technologies including server hardware and server management tools. Administers standards, policies and procedures in accordance with corporate and customer objectives to improve system availability, reliability, recoverability, or manageability. Performs server/application maintenance and housekeeping. Performs other functions and assists team as necessary or at the direction of Infrastructure Management and/or other IT management.

Actively participates in the design and administration of Cloud-based infrastructure solutions working alongside Cloud Architects and other teams (e.g., Web, Database, Storage, Networking, IAM, Information Security) to ensure that initial and anticipated future business requirements are presented.
