Provides legal advice and counsel on employee benefits matters to all Western & Southern Financial Group business and shared service units throughout the Enterprise. Provides legal advice to mitigate risk and address issues that arise. Manages benefits-related disputes directly and/or through outside counsel. Works with minimal supervision and escalates to General Counsel/Deputy General Counsel and business unit management as appropriate. Preferred candidates will also have general familiarity with the Internal Revenue Code, and particularly life insurance and annuity product tax issues, so that they may also support and advise on tax-related issues and litigation.
Leverages technical skills along with understanding of business strategies, priorities and initiatives to provide actionable reports, dashboards, data analysis tools and CRM capabilities that empower business decision-makers and business users to gain insights and make strategic business decisions. Responsible for leading or participating in requirements, design, development, testing, training, and production support across these solutions. The sales internship includes a hands-on experience with various assignments within Touchstone Investments that includes internal sales, marketing, data, research and technology. Responsibilities include working in our CRM, campaign tracking, technology testing, and competitive data analysis, and working within our institutional team on lead generation. In addition, this associate will receive training in sales and marketing distribution, product development and other areas of the Touchstone Fund Family. Finally, as a part of Western & Southern Financial Group, this associate will be involved in larger internship activities, both virtual and on campus, to help them develop their skills and network across the Western & Southern enterprise.
