Summary of Responsibilities:
Serves as lead operational resource dedicated to the Private Client Group (PCG) business line. This role has a deep understanding of all operational aspects of PCG and supports the PCG Operations Lead on all operational and project efforts, including the evaluation and implementation of new technology, creating of new reporting and other efforts related to the client experience.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Scans and indexes paper documents into the imaging system to trigger workflows for further electronic processing throughout the organization. Prioritizes imaging functions to fulfill requests in a timely and quality manner. All documents are to be handled in accordance with departmental standards including established time service and quality standards. Applies the correct indexing schema to each document to ensure appropriate downstream processes trigger if applicable.
Responsible for establishing a vendor profile and vendor code in Gerber Life’s financial system (SAP) for both the Agents and their up-line in order to pay accurate and timely commissions.
Processes and reviews underwriting requirements by conducting customer interviews to gather non-medical and medical information. Works with some supervision but is empowered to approve applications and other decisions within the limits of authority level, and coordinates workflow of cases outside authority limits with Senior Case Specialist. Completes appropriate amendments, and thoroughly reviews and validates output to ensure accuracy. Ensures compliance rules regarding all requirements and procedures are completed. Focus is split between maintaining/enhancing relationships with existing General Agents (GAs) and continually recruiting new GAs who meet the Company’s quality standards to continue to grow the region’s life and annuity business profitability. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible to independently make a broad range of critical decisions, escalating to executive-level associates only when appropriate.

The Senior Fixed Income Analyst interfaces with the middle office, accounting, settlements, actuarial and marketing functions to facilitate the flow of information between all areas. The analyst is exposed to all facets of the fixed income portfolio management process, including portfolio structuring, security analysis, trading, risk management and reporting.
