Working independently, prepares state and local tax compliance for various life and non-life corporate and joint venture entities. Assists in tax research that may arise during tax compliance preparation (e.g., due date and estimate requirements), and prepares and assembles state, county, municipal and other miscellaneous state and local taxes. Prepares supplemental schedules that are required for the annual statement. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible for making an established range of decisions, escalating to management when necessary and updating management on a regular basis.

Western & Southern’s complete Tax Function is currently outsourced to external contractors. This position will manage those contractors on a day-to-day basis in order to perform the following tasks: managing the Enterprise’s income, premium and sales tax compliance and reporting; state and local tax audits; tax cash-flow planning and projections; and research on various assignments received from Management.

Summary of Responsibilities: Encompasses two different areas of responsibility and, generally, assigned responsibilities are rotated between associates every three weeks. The first area requires expertise in the operation of electronic data processing (EDP) equipment, knowledge of computer room procedures and understanding of systems input/output. Summary of Responsibilities: Provides financial accounting services for the Touchstone Mutual Funds/Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and corresponding impact to Touchstone’s business unit. Assists with the financial reporting responsibilities of the Touchstone Mutual Funds/ETFs, including the preparation and review of the quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements; management reporting; and board reporting materials. Assists with the day-to-day oversight of fund accounting and financial reporting functions by directing and interacting with third-party service providers and external auditors of the funds. Builds relationships with external service providers and external auditors. Participates with management as a business partner in the regulatory operations of the funds and the Touchstone business unit. Assists with acquisitions and mergers and the corresponding financial integration and conversions. Suggests and assists with the implementation of cost savings. Serves as back-up to the senior staff accountant of the Touchstone Mutual Funds/ETFs as required. Works with minimal supervision escalating to management when appropriate.

Summary of Responsibilities: The Finance & Accounting Analyst position provides business planning and analysis for Fort Washington Investment Advisors (FWIA). Functions include reviewing and approving all quarterly and annual financial statements for FWIA’s investment partnerships, coordinating all aspects of the external audit of each partnership, coordinating all internal and compliance audits, and managing the relationship with the external accountants and auditors. The individual is responsible for the valuation of direct and fund investments according to ASC 820 and reviewing and approving the calculation of management fees and carried interest for each fund. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing a new fund monitoring and due diligence function, forecasting fund performance and cash flow needs, developing a process to retire or liquidate old legacy funds, and overseeing the public stock ownership report.
