Summary of Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is handling the day to day operations of the Funding Agreements (FA) program with the Federal Home Loan Banks (FHLB) or the Securities Lending program (SL) with chosen agent lender. Contributes to presentations with executive management and Finance and Risk Committees. Works collaboratively with FWIA, Accounting, Eagle and Treasury to help contribute towards decisions made by the AVP, Treasury Corporate Finance when necessary. The staff analyst will also serve as primary back-up for cash management. Works under direct supervision, updating manager on a regular basis and escalating to Manager as needed.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Processes incoming premium payments and reviews payment discrepancies including items rejected by policyholder’s financial institutions. Processes ACH transactions (Automated Clearing House), credit card, and loan payments and responds to other inquiries related to these categories. Responds to inquiries relating to Accounting Category Work, i.e., Billing, Group Billing, etc. Responses are typically made in writing. At times telephone responses are necessary depending on the urgency of the inquiry.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Intern rotates through Corporate Accounting, Audit, and Treasury. The rotation program spans 12 months, with the Intern spending roughly four months in each department. The Intern participates in team-oriented projects that support Accounting, Audit and Treasury management in accomplishing departmental objectives.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Performs enterprise investment accounting, reporting and analysis for Western & Southern Financial Group’s insurance subsidiaries. Provides investment accounting for both internal and external financial reporting, and performs monthly financial statement close and analysis activities. Participates in creating decision analysis tools that enhance the management and growth of the business. Works on special projects as a team leader/member with peers in Fort Washington Investment Advisors and Treasury. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible for making an established range of decisions, escalating to manager when necessary and updating manager on a regular basis.
