The licensed sales representative will sell Gerber Life Insurance products direct to consumer from various lead sources including, but not limited to, DRTV, direct mail, internet, partnership marketing and existing GLIC customers. The sales representative is responsible for taking care of the initial call driver and cross-selling other Gerber Life products as needs of the customer are developed. From time to time, an Insurance Sales Representative will handle service calls as they come in through the sales lines or as needed to help reduce service call volume. This position is fast paced and demands sharp sales skills in order to identify and sell to the needs of our customers.
Coordinates and completes day-to-day Enterprise-level projects within Western & Southern Financial Group (WSFG) using a combination of disciplines (process, change, business and technical). Manages a variety of large-scale, Enterprise-wide initiatives simultaneously while serving as the single point of contact for those initiatives. Leads/Coordinates all aspects of projects including planning/scheduling, scope management, communication management, issue/risk management, resource management, procurement/vendor management, project integration, financial management, change management and quality management through all portions of the project and development lifecycles such as ideation/conceptualization, rationalization/prioritization, requirements, design, build/configuration, testing, documentation, training, deployment, stabilization and closure. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities/tasks, and monitors and summarizes progress of their assigned projects. Ensures that project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule and cost. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met; relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must be familiar with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Oversees, leads, and manages the implementation and continued maturity of the W&S Operational Excellence (OpEx) system, which identifies and maximizes value for customers while engaging associates in regular and sustainable process improvement. Works with business Leaders, Managers and Associates to drive the development and execution of standard operating practices supporting the business's financial and operational goals. This role will learn and deploy a consistent, systematic methodology for achieving process excellence that drives performance acceleration leading to stakeholder value creation.
The Associate, Private Equity is a member of the private equity team with responsibilities relating to administration of investment opportunities through the investment process. The associate, private equity works on deal teams with other investment professionals, including detailed evaluation of investment opportunities and serves on deal teams for due diligence. In addition, the associate prepares documentation, reports and analysis to aid the investment managers and deal teams in managing the process from deal screening through investment recommendation and reporting to limited partners. Working independently, prepares state and local tax compliance for various life and non-life corporate and joint venture entities. Assists in tax research that may arise during tax compliance preparation (e.g., due date and estimate requirements), and prepares and assembles state, county, municipal and other miscellaneous state and local taxes. Directs vehicles entering and leaving the parking garage. Makes security rounds through building and reports issues to the manager/supervisor. Collects parking fees, checks for proper parking decals and cleans floors, offices and rest rooms. Works with some supervision and is responsible for making a minimal range of decisions, escalating to manager when appropriate and updating manager on a regular basis.

Assists in the meal preparation, production and service for approximately 2,000 meals daily utilizing standard recipes for hot, cold and specialty food items. Rotates among six positions and performs multiple prep and cooking functions. Cleans and sanitizes personal work spaces and assists with various kitchen tasks. Under the direction of the Sous Chef and management, is responsible for making a limited range of decisions, escalating to management as needed.

Provides financial accounting services for the Touchstone Mutual Funds/Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and corresponding impact to Touchstone’s business unit. Assists with the financial reporting responsibilities of the Touchstone Mutual Funds/ETFs, including the preparation and review of the quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements; management reporting; and board reporting materials. Assists with the day-to-day oversight of fund accounting and financial reporting functions by directing and interacting with third-party service providers and external auditors of the funds. Builds relationships with external service providers and external auditors. Participates with management as a business partner in the regulatory operations of the funds and the Touchstone business unit. Assists with acquisitions and mergers and the corresponding financial integration and conversions. Suggests and assists with the implementation of cost savings. Performs medical underwriting/medical risk analysis, establishes underwriting standards, and reads EKG's for Western & Southern and Columbus Life New Business. Acts as a consultant for the Benefits Department, including employee health and disability coverage. Provides limited patient care, including injuries, in the Health Services Department. Reviews, researches and initiaties follow-up on several field office financial reports related to balancing field office cashbooks on a daily basis and office bank accounts on a monthly basis as outlined by NAIC and Model Audit Rule requirements. Maintains updated and thorough notes on follow-up and processing documentation per audit guidelines.
Analyzes incoming requests and coordinates between field offices and various Home Office departments to resolve discrepanices and overlooked or mishandled requests. Supports efforts to maintain daily office operations.
Researches policy case information to approve or reject field office requests to issue premium refund checks for amounts greater than established limits in accordance with company guidelines.
Serves as subject matter expert of Agency-specific systems impacting client service, Field Office operations and Cashbook functionality. Participates in system testing and project meetings as needed.
Acts as a Liaison with Client Relationship Center to support the Agency Service Call Expansion program and resolve AOS issues with calls and technology associated with the customer interactions. Works with some supervision but is empowered to approve applications and other decisions within the limits of authority level, and coordinates workflow of cases outside authority limits to underwriter, manager or other departments for final disposition.
